Neil Patrick Harris has been a very successful actor. He is known for his work with How I Met Your Mother, but he is more than an actor, he is also very active in the LGBTQ+ community.
One of the things that Neil Patrick Harris is well known for is starting a family. He did so with his same-sex partner, David Burtka, as they have been together since 2004. They became parents in 2010, welcoming Gideon and Harper as twins.
Now that some 15 years have passed, a more recent picture is causing everybody to say the same thing.
The couple knew that they wanted children after they got married in 2014. In fact, they admitted that having children was a big part of their bond, and Burtka said: “If he hadn’t wanted kids, I don’t think we’d be together.”
Harris also spoke about the twins, saying that they weren’t overly concerned figuring out which twin was his biologically. He said: “We are their parents and I love them implicitly.”
Even though that may be the case, fans have done their fair share of speculating on social media. Many are quick to say that Gideon looks like Harris and Harper looks like Burtka.
This is especially easy to see when you look at a more recent photo that was posted on Instagram. It was posted over Thanksgiving, expressing gratitude for what they had in life, such as family, health, and support.
They captioned the photo: “Thanksgiving, 2024. So much to be thankful for in our lives: our health, our wisdom, our family…”
