This Christmas, my family renamed it ‘Holiday Hug in a Bowl’ because it’s requested at every gathering!

This Slow Cooker Creamy Alfredo Pasta is a rich, flavorful, and effortless one-pot meal. By cooking the pasta directly in the sauce, the flavors meld beautifully, creating a dish that’s both comforting and convenient. The result is perfectly tender fettuccine coated in a velvety Alfredo sauce, with the option to add chicken for extra heartiness.

Ingredients
1 pound fettuccine pasta
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup cooked chicken, diced (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Sauce Base
In the slow cooker, combine heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Stir well to blend.

2. Add Butter & Optional Chicken
Mix in the butter and diced chicken (if using).

3. Add Pasta
Break the fettuccine noodles in half and place them into the slow cooker, making sure they’re covered in the sauce mixture.

4. Cook
Cover and cook on low for 2–3 hours, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce is creamy.

5. Serve & Garnish
Stir before serving to coat the pasta evenly. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a bright finish.

This creamy slow cooker Alfredo pasta is the perfect combination of flavor and convenience—ideal for busy weeknights or cozy dinners at home.
